Progress measures for the school showed a large improvement compared to Results Day 2017 particularly in Mathematics and English.  In the new Progress 8 measure, results show this year group achieved, on average, a third of a grade higher than last year.  The number of students achieving the academic Ebacc suite of subjects also showed a great improvement. Principal Gary Evans was delighted with the results saying, "The students have really worked extremely hard to achieve the results they have.  The Halewood staff have been tireless in their commitment to helping students get the highest possible grades.  I am proud of everybody's achievements!"
